The Hatsuiku Status band is also the one featured in Ringo's live DVD "Hatsuiku Status Gokiritsu Japon"). The songs on the first and third discs are live recordings; the songs on the second disc are studio recorded.

All these songs have connections to the movie Sakuran (Confusion), which Ringo was the music director for, and which Heisei Fuuzoku was heavily influenced by. "Karisome Otome" was released prior to this as the digital single below on November 11, 2006; the version on the physical single is instrumental. The smaller text following the track names is the 'official' English translation. Onkio (Onkyo) and Hitokuchizaka refer to recording studios; Onkyo House is known for mixing both jazz and popular songs.
