If there’s a German-colored taxi
Gunning for the east outer garden of Shinbashi
The Les Paul is completely black
In the opposite lane, a nice-looking Jaguar

Clever self-control, white blood cells
On the one hand, shaking up life with delusions – going so far as to digest dirt
Let’s forget about going back to normal

I gave up on trying to stop biting my nails
The yon-chome is way too carefree
My feelings are about to explode
Y stain, looking like a reduction

Decadence, nudity, safety zone
Too late, I’ve already been born a woman who thrives on exhibition, but even so,
I want to take off my clothes

Clever self-control, white blood cells
On the one hand, shaking up life with delusions – going so far as to digest dirt
Let’s forget about going back to normal

Fatigue, bluffing, honors students
Calling out to love somehow, not getting a response – even luring you out with the answer of a traffic light
that never changes

Translator's notes: The "yon-chome" probably refers to Ginza's famous yon-chome crossing (however, it is one of the busiest crossings--not carefree at all!). "Y stain" is most likely an eosin Y stain, used in science experiments.
