Where is it that you are? I can’t see you even a little bit
I can’t even remember your face – just – there’s only a memory of being loved… only that…

Where could you be? What I remember is the scent of your hair
I hear your voice singing even in the birds’ chirping... I hear it...

Oh – light comes to our exploration of the universe
The aurora holds the world tight now

If I happened to die, I’d come back to life
Oh, in order to love you once more

I keep wandering aimlessly in this deep forest
I can’t even move my feet anymore
With my wounded heart, even if tomorrow is lost

I’m able to keep walking without a magnet or a lamp
simply by believing in and picturing only my own feelings

I want us to be one, like an echo calling out to itself
Because I’m feeling, because I’ll meet
what has to be you. What has to be your vibrations.

Where is it that you are? A thousand years of time flow past
I am a fish in the sea – there’s only a memory of being loved... only that...
Please find me...

Maaya's liner notes: Even after a thousand years, there is still a very hazy, yet intense memory. (Translated by roxfan; edited slightly by me)
Notes: This song is sung as a duet between a man and a woman. The first stanza is the woman's and the second the man's (because of the anata/kimi formal/informal gendered language). In the line "It has to be you. / It has to be your vibrations," the first sentence is sung by the man, and the second by the woman. The stanzas that aren't identified as belonging to either one of them probably reflect the emotions of both: a pair of souls in love with each other who die and come back to life searching for one another over and over throughout the course of time.
