Here's the home for my Maaya
Sakamoto lyrics & translations, comprised both of
translations by other people and translations done by me. These lyrics are organized by discography (singles, albums, and miscellaneous). For as many as possible, I've included translations of the original liner notes that she wrote for each song (and if anyone has any from Grapefruit, Dive, or Easy Listening, please contact me, I would love to have them!). I also have a blog, basically an offshoot of this site, to post translations of these artists' journal entries, interviews, etc. There's also a Maaya Sakamoto tag if you only want to see entries related to her. If it hasn't been updated in a while, that's because I'm focusing on translating lyrics, which is my top priority. (And because Derek's amazing site has largely removed the need for other people to translate Maaya blog entries and interviews.) I've also organized all Maaya English translations that exist online on a Delicious bookmarks page here. Regarding contacting me: The best way to reach me is through email. If you're going to contact me to say you've discovered an error in romaji, look at the bottom of the lyrics page first. Does it say "Romanization credit"? If so, that means I didn't make that romaji and telling me there's an error is going to do virtually no good. I'm aware that a lot of the romaji made by other people have errors, and I plan to replace it all with new romaji by me. That means I'm going to discover the errors and fix them all on my own--you don't need to let me know and you CERTAINLY don't need to take it upon yourself to provide me with the romaji you have made for me to post. I do not accept submissions and I only post my own work aside from what is already there, which as I have said will be replaced in the future. Thank you. Also, do not ask me for the lyrics in text form. They are in images for a reason and that is because I am unable to trust that the text will be used for good and not for evil (re-posting elsewhere). If you like what you see here, please sign the tagboard and let me know!! Thanks :D Also, if you are a Maaya fan and don't already know about it, there's a great forum located here, which is always looking for new fans to join and discuss all aspects of Maaya and her works. Please go and check it out! |
